Creepy: 8 Private Things Facebook Knows About You

7. Facebook can recognize your face in pictures

This weird feature gives me a chill every time I upload a new picture and immediately they suggest who I should tag. But the good news is that you can get rid of it by simply going into the Settings menu and then clicking on Timeline and Tagging. How creepy is this? What do you think about it? Do you think this should be illegal?

Do you know what else is weird? Facebook also tracks virtually every other website you visit.

8. Facebook is listening

No really! This fact is real. Actually, they warned you from the very beginning because it states that “we use your microphone to identify things you’re listening to or watching. This feature helps them recommend various ads to you. I am sure you said something at some point, and in the next hour, some random ad popped up in your feed. I find this very uncomfortable!

Takeaway:

You probably haven’t read all the pages with terms and conditions before signing up for Facebook, right? It is not a secret that nobody else did it just because you never thought of something bad when you first signed up to a social media website.

If you could turn back time, would you do it now?

Unfortunately, Facebook has become a part of our lives, and we will not be able to get rid of it easily. In order to have a safe life, be open-minded, have some boundaries, and last but not least, be careful about what you click on or off of.

What do you think about these creepy things? Do you agree with them?
