5. Facebook will keep images you’ve actually deleted
Remember that one time when some of your friends sent you a picture with them from some party? That was fun to see, but they specifically asked you to delete it. And you did!
But by doing this, it won’t get away from Facebook that easily because the website stores a copy of it. Insane, right? To understand this process better, they explained that when you delete IP content, it is actually deleted in a way similar to the Recycle Bin on your computer.
Next time I want to share a private picture, I will use another app!
6. Your existence
Do you know why the “People you may know” feature appears every time you scroll down and it’s beyond annoying? A sci-fi scenario would be that in a certain situation you don’t use Facebook but your friends are.
The website saves their contacts on its servers whenever they sign up. The next step is that these phone numbers are connected to the existing Facebook users whom it suggests they add as friends. What a weird algorithm!
