And that’s true, but if you think that this is going to make your life more affordable, you may want to think again. A lot of studies have shown that Florida’s cost of living is ranked above average compared to the rest of the country. And regarding housing affordability, it was ranked as the 8th worst state. Everything is expensive here, starting with house and car insurance. That’s why if you’re on a tight budget, you might want to stay away from Florida as much as possible.

Of course, there are a lot of nice places to visit in Florida! Don’t hesitate to come here at least once. But moving here? Nah!
