9. She behaves differently when your spouse isn’t present
If she’s being polite and friendly only when your partner is around, then it’s a major red flag! No joking. This behavior is actually toxic and manipulative. If she wants to turn them against you, she can easily do that, especially if they are two-faced.
10. She gossips a lot about you
Some mothers-in-law spread some rumors which are basically false most of the time. If you want to say something to the whole family, that is up to you, but if she knows from before and decides to say something without asking for your opinion, that’s rude.
Especially if you aren’t present to contest the story for yourself!
