How To Know Which Vaccine To Get, According To Dr. Fauci

Depending on your age, you may have to receive a specific vaccine

According to Dr. Fauci, who received both doses of the Moderna vaccine, it doesn’t matter what vaccine you get – Moderna’s, Pfizer’s, or even Johnson & Johnson’s, when approved. However, only one type of vaccine will be available for people under a certain age. The Pfizer vaccine can only be administered to those 16 and older while Moderna’s vaccine can only be given to those 18 or older. The upcoming Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine is also available only for anyone 18 or older.

Right now, it is unknown when a vaccine will be ready for children as the trials are still in the early stages. Also, find out if you’re in one of these 4 Groups of People Who Shouldn’t Get the COVID-19 Vaccine Just Yet.

MY WIFE AND I ARE OVER 70 AND NEITHER OF US HAVE BE CONTACTED. THE HOSPITAL SAID THAT WE SHOULD CONTACT OUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR AND THAT PERSON SHOULD TELL US WHEN WE WOULD GET OUR SHOT.
WE BOTH HAVE DIFFERENT PRIMARY CARE DOCT0RS. I JUST DON’T WANT EITHER OF US GETTING THE VIRUS AND PASSING AWAY. WE HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR OVER 33 YEARS AND WE ARE VERY CLOSE. WE BOTH HAVE THINGS WRONG WITH US. SHE IS A DIABETIC AND HIGH BLOOD PRESURE. I HAVE PTSD AND HEAD TRAUMA AND ARTHRITIS PRETTY BAD, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, AND WE BOTH SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION. DO YOU RECOMMEND ANYTHING WE SHOULD DO OR NOT DO.

    1. You didn’t mention which state you live in, but my mother lives in Florida and she contacted her county health department and has already received her vaccine. We live in Virginia and our county’s health department is pre-registering people under 65 for appointments when the vaccine is available for them. People with underlying conditions do not have to wait and, in our state, don’t need to provide medical proof of that condition. Hope this helps. Goood luck!

    2. CALL YOUR HEALTH DEPARTMENT WHERE YOU LIVE. I DID AND I’VE RECEIVED MY FIRST SHOT. THEY WILL ASKED YOU SOME QUESTIONS AND THEN TELL YOU WHEN YOU CAN GET YOUR FIRST SHOT.
