A new vaccine may be available as early as March
Apart from Moderna and Pfizer’s vaccines, Dr. Fauci revealed that a new vaccine might be authorized and become available as soon as March: the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This vaccine uses a common cold virus called adenovirus type 26 to insert coronavirus proteins into body cells and create an immune response.
Compared to the vaccines now available in the US, the J&J vaccine can be administered in a single dose and kept in normal refrigerators, which might simplify its distribution, particularly in rural areas.

DO YOU RECOMMEND ANYTHING WE SHOULD DO OR NOT DO.
You didn’t mention which state you live in, but my mother lives in Florida and she contacted her county health department and has already received her vaccine. We live in Virginia and our county’s health department is pre-registering people under 65 for appointments when the vaccine is available for them. People with underlying conditions do not have to wait and, in our state, don’t need to provide medical proof of that condition. Hope this helps. Goood luck!
