4. Let the bird chillax a bit!
You can’t really argue with the recipe, right? You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do and let your bird relax for a couple of hours. Maybe it was about the cooking, you know, before marinating it. I still wonder why they stuffed the bird and let it chill. Oh, I know now! The cook got a bit tipsy before cooking, and while he or she was trying to wake up after a couple of beers, the turkey was left in a funny position in the sink.
I hope it was cooked before the guests arrived! Unless they all wanted a raw, stripped turkey for dinner.

In 1965 we got married. My first Thanksgiving dinner and I cooked the Turkey with the bag of giblets still inside, well could have been worse.
