8 Things You Aren’t Allowed to Take on a Plane

1.Tools

You may want to be the handyman in case something breaks during the vacation and should be fixed. But we have some bad news! Most of the tools are not allowed in carry-on luggage. You might not think of a hammer as a weapon, but the TSA has other opinions about this. Leave the tools alone for a week and enjoy your vacation! What can’t be fixed should be replaced.

2.Flammable items

We know that the 4th of July is coming soon, but that’s not a reason to pack the fireworks in your carry-on bags! Leave all the flammable items at home. Keep in mind that even the camping gear used for fires and cooking is flammable as well, so you can’t take it with you.

If you still want to carry these things with you, consider leaving them in the checked bags. Check the rules with your airline and read everything carefully. Everything that is considered dangerous will be confiscated.

NOTE: If you are a smoker and your lighter brings you luck and it’s a gift from your father, you are allowed to bring it in your carry-on bag. But only one lighter!
