Pennsylvania was one spot away from making it to the top 20 best states for telecommuters. However, it spotted the no. 21 position due to the combo between the at-home work environment that ranks in the top 15 and the living environment that ranks in the bottom 15.
20 Florida
Florida may be considered the Sunshine State but when it comes to cybersecurity, there’s nothing sunny about it. In fact, Florida ranks in the bottom five in terms of information technology security, so, if you’re living in Florida, I’d be more careful with surfing the internet.
All in all, the Sunshine State ranked No. 20 as a suitable place for people to work from home.
19 Maryland
The Old-Line State landed on the 21st place in terms of the work environment and on the 22nd position in terms of the living environment. Overall, Maryland came in at no. 19. Not bad for the Mid-Atlantic state!
