People living in Wisconsin have to pay some of the highest income taxes in the United States, which determined the state’s position at no. 43 in terms of living conditions. For work environment, the Badger state ranked 20th while its overall ranking is 33 for work from home conditions.

 

32 New York

The Big Apple is the 32nd best place to work from home, ranking 36th for best work environment in the average home and the 35th for best living environment. That being said, New Yorkers should think twice before trading their cubicle for their couch.

 

31 California

California was one of the first states to implement strict shelter-at-home rules when the pandemic began, in an attempt to promote social distancing and curb the coronavirus spread. The Golden State stands at no. 31 for its work from home conditions and environment. Step up your game, California!
