24 Connecticut

Life is not cheap in Connecticut, where residents have to pay the fifth-highest electricity bills on average. On the bright side, the Nutmeg State provides the best household internet access in the entire country, which helps it land the 24th position in terms of working from home conditions.

23 Ohio

Ohio made in on our list on the 23rd place, due to its 27th and 18th positions for its work and living environment. Ohio residents working from home have plenty of time and opportunities to pick up new hobbies and interests and turn them into something worth including on their resume.

22 Texas

Everything seems to be bigger in Texas but this isn’t the case with internet costs which are the second-lowest in the country. Not to mention the living environment which places the Lone Star State among the top ten states in the country. Unfortunately, Texas ranked 33 for work at home environment, resulting in an overall ranking of no. 22.
