Soda
When we say soda, we mean SODA. We’re not just talking about Coke, but any 16-ounce soda, including the “lemon-lime” sodas and even tonic waters! They all have at least 13 teaspoons of sugar in their composition, which is double the recommended amount of sugar in a day.
Naturally, ginger ale or a cola once in a while won’t be the end of the world but try as much as possible to avoid more and consume less. And don’t try to trick the situation, as artificial sweeteners are anywhere from 200 to 600 times just as sweet as regular sugar, which only reminds your taste buds of what they’re missing!
