Did someone say sugar with a side of protein? If you don’t believe me, take a look at the ingredient list of any protein shakes and you’ll be left with a surprise. They are loaded with sugar! And if it’s not sugar, then they’re loaded with artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and additives. Given all this, it’s worth going back to the good old rule of thumb: drink your water, eat your proteins!

There are many traditional sources from which you can get the needed proteins, like milk, yogurt, eggs, seafood, chicken, and lean beef. They’re always better than pre-made protein shakes!
