Fruits are extremely nutritious, filled with antioxidants and healthy fiber. On top of that, they contain natural sugars that come with lots of good nutrients, like vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Those are all the necessary “ingredients” that make fruits so healthy. And guess what? By stripping them from all the good-for-you fibers, we only remain with a ton of sugar and calories.

And we do that when we make fruit juice. Imagine that we need up to three oranges just to make one cup of orange juice! In addition to that, pasteurized fruit juices can lose some of the needed nutrients.
