4. Make a Simple Formula
You can create a custom formula to create a secure password. For instance, you can take any phrase and simply replace every letter with the next one in the alphabet:
- Pancakes are delicious! -> “Qbodblft bsf efmjdjpvt!”
You can also take the first letter of your favorite band’s name:
- Red Hot Chili Peppers -> “Sfe Ipu Dijmj Qfqqfst”
These examples may seem like gibberish, but that’s exactly what you want to achieve. A hacker will never crack your account if you create this kind of unique password.
5. Use the Keyboard Layout
Using the keyboard layout to make a custom pattern is another effective password idea. For instance, you can remember something as simple as a name (e.g., Stephen King), then use the keys above and to the left of the letters (A530wb Jubt). Some examples are:
- “Rn0u5w Arq6w Vyuos9bf” (Empire State Building)
- “Tgw Agq3aayqhi Ewswnor99b” (The Shawshank Redemption)
- “Qnw58xqb Quekuj3w Feiyo” (American Airlines Group)
