Lunds & Byerlys managed to get perfect scores on every metric, including cleanliness, fresh store-prepared foods, helpfulness, and attentiveness of employees. All except for one, which is competitiveness for prices.
When it comes to this category, the majority of consumers rated it a 1 out of 5. Who would’ve thought?
I agree that Gelson’s is badly overpriced but, their quality is second-to-none & when they’re your neighborhood grocery, those few Pennie’s-higher are easy to get accustomed to
We don’t have any of these in Southeastern Wisconsin except Whole Foods. And both Whole Foods locations aren’t even in my neighborhood.
Thankfully NONE of these are with in 50 or more miles from my home

I’m not a regular Von’s shopper however, I do shop their sister store, Albertson’s…the sale price items and they are great. This from a “super shopper”. The reason I go to Albertsons is largely, Albertsons is closer. Again, I only shop the sale items. They do run “good sales”.
Amazon Fresh Stores.
I’ve been shopping there and I have to say their prices are incredibly low. Produce and fruit are top quality. As good as Sprout’s. And you can check out with the wave of your hand!
I go to Shaws in Newburyport Ma I have always been satisfied with their produce, meats and baked goods.
I do agree their prices are not competitive but I have usually been satisfied with the courtesy of their employees
