Worst No. 1: The day this tell-all book was released
It comes as no surprise that famous figures have high-profile enemies. It definitely was an unpleasant surprise when Stephanie Winston Wolkoff—a close friend of Melania Trump and a former White House adviser—published her book about the first lady.
“Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady” is a book that has some seriously controversial things to say about Melania, calling her character into question. The author described working for the Trumps as being the worst mistake of her life, and she criticized the former first lady for not defending her when questions about inaugural spending arose.
Winston Wolkoff’s contract was dissolved shortly after the inauguration, so she wanted to let people know her side of the story. According to Wolkoff, the former first lady wasn’t there when she needed her. Moreover, the author says she wishes she had never met her.
The two had met back in 2003 in New York, but it’s reasonable to think that there’s only bad blood between them now.
