
Sriracha hot sauce – In a letter addressed to wholesale customers last month, sriracha maker Huy Fong Foods declared that the weather conditions are causing a serious shortage of the chili pepper it uses to make this amazing spicy condiment.
“Unluckily, this is out of our control”, the company added. “Without this essential ingredient, we are completely unable to produce any of our products.” And it’s still unclear when the store inventory will be also affected by the pepper shortage.
