4. Graun Church on Lake Reschen (Italy)
Every abandoned building has a story about it got it that way and a lot of them are only myths. But the truth is that they look so scary that I wouldn’t dare to be near one! Another building that looks amazing but was literally drowned is Graun Church, located on the shores of Lake Reschen in South Tyrol, Italy. The drowning was because of an artificial lake that was built in the 50’s that was supposed to provide the nearby town with electricity.
I don’t know if it’s necessary or creepy, but all that remains intact and visible is the church’s tower, which looks so good as it’s just floating in the middle of the lake. Have you ever been to Italy? I have to admit that I am pretty curious to see how this church or what’s left of it looks in real life! It must be something amazing!
