2. The Caritas Hospital
From abandoned monasteries because of plagues to forgotten villages, Romania is a place filled with abandoned places that you shouldn’t actually visit. Most of them are supposed to be haunted, but others just look scary. A lot of them are closed to the public due to fear of injury, but a lot of people are still trying to break into them to sneak a peek. The Caritas Hospital makes no exception when it comes to abandoned places. This building is located near the heart of Bucharest and is known as one of the oldest buildings in the city. Its first utility was to protect homeless families and children, and, 11 years later, it became a hospital under the careful watch of Princess Marie. Later on, it was a war hospital, and some of the best doctors in the country used to work there. Unfortunately, it was permanently closed 6 years ago and its current state is degradable. Would you dare take a look inside this building?
