Baby gear
Purchasing baby products at a yard sale might help you save some money in the process but is it really worth it? Not really, not when it comes to your child’s safety. If there’s even the slightest safety risk involved, don’t buy anything.
It’s not unusual for people to put recalled baby gear up for sale, although authorities are constantly warning against it. Consumer Reports urges sellers to refrain from selling safety baby items like cribs, bike helmets and car seats. Even if they do put them up for sale, it’s better not to buy anything.
