Unpackaged food
If the idea of having lunch at a “C” grade restaurant is out of the question, just know that your kitchen (or anyone else’s, for that matter) isn’t any better in terms of food safety and would probably not pass a health inspection test anytime soon.
So, with that in mind, why would you think it’s a good idea to buy unpackaged food from someone you don’t know? It might seem tasty but if you don’t know the person preparing it, how can you be sure that they’ve complied with basic food safety rules and you won’t be exposed to some sort of foodborne illness?
