6. She sets you up to fail 

It may be difficult to detect, especially if she is pretending to be nice to you. But you will eventually notice it is not really sincere. Toxic behavior has a way of knocking you down while she will appear completely innocent. The best example we can give is that she might encourage you to bring some sort of dish to a family gathering and then publicly criticize it.

That’s totally rude!

7. She’s just waiting for you to let your guard down

Try to not lose your vigilance even when she seems to be in a good mood. It may look like things are getting better, but it may just be an appearance. Then, out of nowhere, she will turn against you.

This may be a reminder that you can never have a relationship with her.

And that’s not a bad thing as long as she is behaving in such a weird way towards you!

8. She’s impossible to please

If she begins to make comments about how your home could be improved or what she would change every time she enters it, then something toxic is coming! Unless you intentionally asked for her opinion, there’s a good chance that she will start criticizing you for no reason, just for the sake of it in order to upset you.

In most cases, she expects you to change things to make her happy.
