Your first thought after having had a bad experience with a service is to go online and warn everyone about it. This can lead to the embellishment of what really happened,” Cannon says. “However, you may find yourself sued for libel if you leave a very bad review.”
What you can do instead: Before you leave your bad review for everyone to see, make sure everything you say about a business or company can be supported by evidence. If the fact cannot be verified, just mention “in my opinion,” recommends Cannon.
