Founded by media mogul Rupert Murdoch and launched on October 7, 1996, to 17 million cable subscribers, Fox News and its ‘fair and balanced’ approach to news has seen its fair share of controversy over the years, however, no one can deny its impact on America and the behemoth it has become in the world of 21st century cable news.

By 2019, it was boasting a viewership of around 2.5 million and was the most watched cable news channel. Its dominance has taken a bit of a hit recently with CNN currently at number 1 and MSNBC coming in at number 2. However, Fox can climb its way back up to the number 1 slot again, and their panel show The Five may help them do just that.

The show, which premiered on July 11, 2011, and airs live weekdays from 5 p.m. ET, features interesting conversations, debate and discussion have found itself one of the most popular shows on the network, and it’s four daily hosts and an ever changing roster of guest hosts much be paid a pretty penny as a reward for making the show what it is today.     1. Not lies. Of course, you don’t have to agree with their views, but they aren’t lies. You can easily figure this out by googling their comments. I’ve done that.

    I stopped watching Fox news when they continually supported Trump lies. They use to be number one in my book but no more. They do not tell the truth. What a shame They let the Republican party and Trump dictate to them. Everyone knows Trump lost a very fair election. I voted for TRUMP but never again.
