Warranties are a man’s best friend! In case something happens with your appliance, the company (depending on their internal policies) usually returns your money to your account. But if you want to buy your microwave or your smartphone with cash, you won’t get this extended warranty and its benefits. Many credit cards provide extended warranties for gadgets as a benefit to cardholders. If you pay for an item with an eligible card, you might get a free extended warranty that meets the manufacturer’s warranty for up to a year.

Remember that cars and computers are usually excluded from additional coverage. For your safety, before purchasing anything, ask the seller for all the information you want to know. They are obliged to tell you!
