Russia Received Several Sanctions
The majority of countries who are against this war between Russia and Ukraine decided to apply several restrictions to Vladimir Putin’s country. All of them are designed to debilitate the financial system in the region and besides that, they also hurt its well-heeled citizens. Even though not all Russian residents agree with this battle, the consequences apply to the whole country.
- Luxury products and vodka – the European Union and the United Kingdom decided to stop sending luxury products to Russia, such as art pieces, high-end fashion items, and fancy vehicles. Moreover, the UK wants to imply a 35% tax on some of the imports from Russia, including their most popular alcoholic drink, vodka.
