The Deli counter might not be as safe as it looks
Whenever I was in a hurry and wasn’t in the mood to cook for two hours straight, I used to stop at the deli counter to grab a premade meal. Everything there looks so tasty and appealing, especially those rotisserie chickens and the spicy wings. However, I decided to stop doing this because I would rather cook something easy like spaghetti or rice. Why? Because most deli counter foods are made from foods that have already expired or are nearing expiration. Nasty, right? Apparently, this information “leaked” from a former employee and shocked everybody.

I know that they re-package the meat and change the date on the label to make it seem fresher.
