Not-so-fresh food is placed in front
Whenever someone is in a hurry, they’re tempted to grab the first thing they see on a shelf. But is this a good idea? Certainly not. Don’t get caught in the trap of convenience. On a shelf, the fresher items are frequently placed further back, while those that are closer to their expiration date are commonly pushed to the front. Believe it or not, this is a general rule for all grocery stores. Their employees are often told to do this in order to sell these items faster.
Take the time to reach further back and retrieve the fresher item; it will be worth it for sure!
