A contrast dye that’s completely essential for medical imaging tests such as CT scans is being rationed in hospitals and causing delays for patients, as CNN reported this week. Coronavirus-related lockdowns in Shangai, for example, where GE manufactures the dye, are being blamed for this shortage.
