- Gas and oil – by the end of 2022, the United Kingdom wants to stop operating with oil from Russia and the United States is planning on stopping all the Russian gas and oil imports. Doing so will target the principal resource of Russia’s economy, as president Joe Biden stated.
- Europe – things are moving a little slower in Europe, due to the fact that they get all the oil and 40% of the gas they use from Russia. However, the officials stated that they will shift to other suppliers and they will make the whole continent independent from Russian energy long before 2030.
- Germany – during the first days of the war, the country stated that they decided to put on hold the approval for the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to start its activity.
