1. 5G Is Dangerous
Some people have been promising that 5G is going to improve our lives for good. They were talking about enabling self-driving cars in order to develop and improve the telehealth business. However, there are many people who don’t care about it. They say there is no point in having a car that is driving by itself if you are going to die from the exposure to a 5G connection.
In addition to that, there are other myths about 5G as well, such as the one that says Covid-19 is an artificial virus, caused by the new 5G. FALSE! It is true that its signals are stronger than those we have been using in the past years, but they are not harmful. It is believed that they are non-ionizing, so they are not going to directly destruct the human body cells.
There is a lot of scientific research on this topic that gave the green light to this new type of Internet, you don’t have to worry, it’s fine, you won’t die because of 5G.
2. Is unlimited data actually limited?
From unlimited toppings on pizza to unlimited data, everything seems like it is too good to actually be true – and some of the times it actually is. Cellular and Internet providers tend to attract customers into their offers by promising them that it is possible to have all the data they are dreaming of. However, you have to outsmart them and the catch that is in the fine print.
Indeed, you will have data as much as you like, all month long, but the speed won’t be the same for the whole period. Your speed will be extremely slow once you hit a particular data threshold (although there are some actually unlimited plans out there).
If you are planning on getting an unlimited data plan, make sure to read the terms and conditions thoroughly first, before you decide whether to sign the contract or not. This way, you will know what to expect in the future, especially if it’s a satellite or cellular Internet plan.
3. Wi-Fi can make you sick
Did you know that there are people who think they are waking up sick because of their Wi-Fi routers? Nothing can be further from the truth! Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is an admitted condition by the World Health Organization (WHO), but there are several doctors who refuse to accept it. In addition to that, some of the members of WHO said that “The collection of symptoms is not part of any recognized syndrome”.
Besides that, it has been found that it is not possible to replicate the EHS symptoms under guarded laboratory conditions. This means that EHS can actually be a psychological phenomenon. However, if you find yourself being sick of living under the pressure of your Wi-Fi router, you can try wearing an EMF (electromagnetic field) protection necklace.
