Ashley Blazer Biden
Ashley is 41 years old and she’s the youngest in the Biden family. She has decades’ worth of experience as a social worker, but also as a public advocate.
She mentioned that even if she’ll never have a job in the Administration, she will hopefully use the platform to advocate for social justice, and mental health, and be involved in community revitalization.
Ashley graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, getting a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania. She was the former executive director at the Delaware Center for Justice, a nonprofit advocacy group, but also a social worker for the state’s Department of Services for Children, Youth, and Their Families.
She spoke many times about the bond her dad and mother have: “Mom keeps Dad grounded.” as she explained during an interview. “She will always remind him to wash his bowl.”
