7. Apple pies are canceled
Wait, wait! What? How can you say that? Well, this person wasn’t that lucky because either the oven was set to a higher temperature or the aluminum baking sheet wasn’t a good idea. Who knows? Maybe the person made these pies for the first time and wanted to impress the guests. Bad luck! But they better hurry. The bakery might close soon, especially on the Thanksgiving weekend! Or you can ask one of the guests to bring the dessert.

In 1965 we got married. My first Thanksgiving dinner and I cooked the Turkey with the bag of giblets still inside, well could have been worse.
