Bill was not a quitter, though
Melinda Gates continued her story, saying that Bill called an hour after their discussion to meet later in the evening. “He asked: ‘Is that spontaneous enough for you?'”, she recalled in the same Facebook post. She eventually gave in to giving the Microsoft founder a chance and said yes to going out with him. Since then, Bill apparently “gotten a little more spontaneous over the years”, according to another one of Melinda’s posts on Instagram in 2019.
