This is probably the golden rule of shopping. And believe it or not, it is true. You’re bound to make bad decisions that are not based on the nutritional quality of the food but on your temporary cravings because you didn’t think it was important to eat before taking a quick trip to the store.
So naturally, when you’re hungry and surrounded by tons of goodies, you’re more tempted to buy everything because you think with your stomach, regardless of how unhealthy the choices are, especially if the products are on sale. Don’t leave yourself in the position of having to open the bag after you arrive home and ask, “What was I thinking when I bought this huge bag of chips?”.
