Throat or jaw pain
Generally, throat or jaw pain has nothing to do with the heart. Even more, it might be caused by a muscular issue, a cold, or a sinus problem. But if you’re experiencing pain or pressure in the center of your chest that goes up to your throat or jaw, it could be a sign of a heart attack. You should immediately call 911 and seek medical attention to rule out this possibility.
Jaw pain can also be a sign of other health problems, such as arthritis, physical trauma, dental issues, or even problems with the temporomandibular joint. But if you’re experiencing these symptoms alongside shortness of breath, it might be related to your heart.
