9 Jobs That Will Be Stolen By Robots

Healthcare workers

Fear not. Your doctor will not be replaced by some uncaring robot called 3DOX. But some sort of AI could help your doctor , and healthcare services in general, become more efficient.

In a recent experiment at Oxford’s John Radcliffe hospital, a robot assisted an eye doctor in performing a simple eye surgery on volunteers. With its help, the doctor finished the surgery faster and more efficiently.

But this was not the first time when robots were used in the operation room. In fact, in 2015, automated help was used in more than 750,000 operations, with maximum success.

Apart from their role during surgeries, robots will also become involved in diagnosing patients. At least this is what a team of pathologists at Harvard intends to achieve. The researchers used AI to diagnose breast cancer in patients and were pleased to discover that the robots helped them increase their accuracy from 96% to 99.5%.
