Luxurious vacations
We all miss going on a long, relaxing holiday, and not think about viruses, pandemics and the like. As soon as the pandemic is over, imagine just how many people will be desperate to pack their bags and head to a five-star hotel in the Maldives or Barbados. But not frugal people.
It’s not their goal, pandemic or not, to spend their money on lavish vacations that keep them away from achieving their ultimate goal: financial independence. When you’re trying to save as much as possible, a $6000 vacation on an exotic island can seriously derail your plans.
Frugalistas focus on their long-term goals and once they’ve reached a certain level of wealth, they feel comfortable enough to pamper themselves. They go by the motto: Save now and enjoy later! Is it a good philosophy? You decide!

I did not drink public water when I lived in Vermont, Rochester, MN, and I don’t drink water here in Texas. There were radio and TV announcements to boil the water before consuming it. I was told by an MN worker to not drink the water and suggest that I install a house filter system, Here in TX the public water office says the water in Texas Meets FDA and public health guidelines. I was told by my dog’s Vet to Not give him pubic water. So I buy water that went through a reverse osmosis system, and I had the water tested. Too many states have not improved their water processing to meet the increased population and replace OLD parts before they fail. Many homes still have lead pipes or copper pipes secured with lead solder. I have an external and internal filters on my Refridgerator.
