Shaw’s

Shaw’s also managed to receive an overall score of 70 points, and the lowest ever score in the price competitiveness category. Also, many people complain about their employees, recalling how ignorant and blatantly rude they are to customers, sometimes even with their store manager watching and laughing it off. The majority of middle-class consumers found this network acceptable. Even so, survey participants noticed that in these stores, products aren’t always high quality, their prices are also not very reasonable, and the range is pretty poor. What’s your experience with Shaw’s?

Key Food

Unfortunately, Key Food is now the lowest-rated grocery chain on the entire list, with only 1 star out of 5, for both its price competitiveness and fresh store-prepped food.

Don’t forget to tell us in the comments section about YOUR experience with any of these stores, and if you feel like we’ve missed a certain chain that you feel doesn’t work for you anymore.

  1. Amazon Fresh Stores.

I’ve been shopping there and I have to say their prices are incredibly low. Produce and fruit are top quality. As good as Sprout’s. And you can check out with the wave of your hand!

  2. I go to Shaws in Newburyport Ma I have always been satisfied with their produce, meats and baked goods.
I do agree their prices are not competitive but I have usually been satisfied with the courtesy of their employees

  3. Must be lucky to live in south Texas bc Ive never heard of these stores…I have 2 HEBs in my town along w Aldis and sam club!

  4. Mariane Campbell

I shop frequently at Key Food in Kings Park, Long Island, New York
May be the prices are a little higher than stores but the Lady who runs the front area is very nice
Also they are clean & well stocked with the grocery items I need

  5. Other than Whole Foods, how can the rest of this list be meaningfully evaluated? After all, most grocery stores are owned by maybe 2 or 3 large Corporations? Or maybe only ONE? I can’t keep track!
