Numerous studies performed over the years showed that playing different types of music can have a significant influence on shopping behavior. Tempo, volume, and genre can all affect and harness powerful effects on people’s moods and minds.
Cheerful music, for example, puts us in a good mood and makes us purchase more. A slower song, on the other hand, makes us feel less in a hurry and more comfortable in lingering in the aisles, checking the labels and thus spending more time inside the store.
