Eligibility for the third stimulus is different from the first two rounds
Because the eligibility criteria have been modified for the third round of stimulus checks, you might not know that you can also be eligible for new or larger payments based on your 2020 tax return.
While there are more stringent requirements in terms of income (stimulus money was received even if your income exceeded $80,000 in 2019), if you earned 80,000 or less in 2020, you still have a shot at the third stimulus payment if you file the most recent tax return.
