It’s no secret that the Trump administration lacked qualities like understanding and empathy, so it was quite surprising and a good look for Melania Trump when she brought compassion to the Republican National Convention. As noted by several publications, her particular warmth was a pleasant surprise for everyone.
Experts analyzed her speech and concluded that while the rest of the first family was raging against the Democrats, entrenched Washington forces, and the unfairness of the media, the first lady was gliding above it all. Melania basically decided to stay away from another scandal.
In her speech, the former first lady offered her “deepest sympathy” to those who had lost loved ones to COVID-19 and let people know that they were “not alone” in this. She even went as far as to point out that the pandemic has definitely shaken the national psyche.
