In 1994, Russia associated with the Partnership for Peace program, and since then, along with NATO, they collaborated on important arrangements.
On February 24th, NATO stated that they would send help to its eastern flank, connecting more than 6,000 U.S. troops that the Pentagon has already conveyed to the Baltics and to Eastern Europe.
In addition to that, the Pentagon stated that they are going to reposition approximately 1,000 troops in Europe: 800 U.S. troops and 20 Apache helicopters will go to the Baltics, 12 Apaches will go to Greece, and eight F-35 strike fighters will go to Estonia, Romania, and Lithuania.
