4. Millennial pink on the walls
Yikes! Unless you’re planning to paint your daughter’s or your grandchildren’s room in pink, forget about the idea as soon as possible! Because it’s time for us to say farewell to this obnoxious and horrible color. For a nice and fresh look this year, consider painting your walls in vibrant hues like green, yellow, or blue, which can go very well with a lot of styles.
5. Way too much rattan!
Rattan has experienced a significant comeback in recent years, appearing on everything from beds to chairs to sofas. But it’s possible that this material’s appeal has ended! And, in my case, the only thought that comes to mind is one of relief because I never really liked this specific fabric at all. Although you may enjoy combining it with other items in the room, it is currently present in all types of furniture, and we can agree with the designers that this is excessive!
Of course, nobody said you should definitely throw away your rattan garden furniture or any other chair that you really like because it belonged to your grandmother, just because it isn’t “trendy” anymore. Combine it with other types of fabric, play with accessories and shapes, and add a splash of your personality to your home. After all, you must enjoy how it looks because you spend most of your time in it. Dare to change things this year, but don’t overdo it, and most important, maintain a budget-friendly limit!
