5 Everyday Things That Will Disappear Before You Do

1. Open spaces are officially “closed”

I was secretly hoping that this is one of those unpleasant trends that will disappear soon because, honestly, who likes an open-space kitchen? Besides being super annoying because the smell can travel so easily (even if you have a kitchen hood installed), who likes to be seen when they cook? After many years of this trend being on everyone’s list when looking to buy a new house, open-concept living is no longer something people want to have. The COVID-19 pandemic changed our reality, and because we were forced to do most of our day-to-day activities indoors, we wanted more privacy and a clear line between work and free time. To be more specific, we all desire quiet time. And this is something you can’t achieve in an open-space lifestyle.

Furthermore, an open kitchen will definitely leave all the clutter after cooking in plain sight. And even if you like it or not, you will have to do the dishes every time you cook or eat. But that time has past, and now let’s say welcome to other trends that may be better!

What do you feel about this trend? Are you happy it’s going to fade away? Tell us in the comments.
