We probably know how useful these containers are, especially for storing and organizing the kitchen, and a lot of us are using them to pack lunch. But these plastic containers tested positive for chemicals because they contain a high percentage of phthalates.
In fact, more than 30% of the products found on dollar store shelves have higher levels of phthalates, especially the products that are made for children. Horrible! Instead of buying plastic containers, switch to ones that are made of glass. They may not be resistant to high temperatures, but you can always reheat your food on a plate.
