The reason why you should walk away even if you see the biggest discount on a used mattress is pretty obvious: bedbugs. Mattresses are known to be breeding grounds for bedbugs and by bringing an infested mattress into your home you’re allowing those tiny skin crawlers to infest other areas like furniture and rugs.
As if bedbugs aren’t creepy enough, old mattresses could be moldy, have stains and emit odors that will definitely keep you from having a good night’s rest.
