8. The wreck was discovered in the last 50 years

This year was the 110th anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking. A lot of things have changed since then, and some rumors say that they are planning on making another ship with the same name. How do you feel about this?

The Titanic’s wreck can be found 3,700 meters under the Atlantic. Apparently, it wasn’t discovered until late 1985, and then it was confirmed that it broke into two pieces.

And the pieces are a third of a mile apart. Have you ever seen pictures of a shipwreck? Or a documentary?

Since then, a lot of stuff has begun to deteriorate, including the captain’s bathtub. It was evaluated that at least $6 million of personal belongings went down in the sinking.

  1. The sinking of the Titanic left an indelible mark to my memory. I first saw the movie, “A night to remember”, when I was a little kid. The movie left a lasting impression on me of that tragic day. I felt the horror that it must have been for the people going down with the ship. The many lives lost and the memories of the people who died that day. Thank you for sharing the pictures of the Titanic.

  2. Three Jewish bankers who opposed the creation of the Federal Reserve were on the Titanic. They never got to oppose it.

  3. Sad story indeed, but I have to call BS on the “picture of the last boat leaving.” The Titanic sank in the middle of the night, but there’s the sheen of sunlight on the water around the boat. And it doesn’t matter to me who took the picture, I want to know who developed the film? Good try guys but that dog won’t hunt.

  4. The Titanic is why I believe in fate. My then 17-year-old grandmother was scheduled to come to America with her parents and siblings aboard the Titanic. Something happened at the last minute, and they came over a week earlier on another ship. If my grandmother was on the Titanic I most likely would not be here. They weren’t 1st class passengers, and they weren’t steerage either.
