Use rubbing alcohol to get rid of sticky residue

Do you know that annoying gluey-gummy dirt left behind after you peel off a sticker or label from a surface? Don’t you just hate it? Fortunately, there are ways to get rid of that sticky residue without paying a fortune on cleaning products and ruin your furniture in the process. One efficient way to get sticker residue off plastic, wood, or glass is using rubbing alcohol.

Rubbing alcohol is one of the most efficient solvents and it is quite safe to use on most surfaces in your home. “A little rubbing alcohol and a bit of elbow grease cuts sticker crud on home windows,” says Roberson. Just soak a rag in rubbing alcohol, let it sit on the residue area and then rub it off.
